Our SUNDAY Concert starting time has changed to 3:00 pm for all in-person PSO only concerts at the Paradise Performing Arts Center. We ask that all attendees be seated by 2:45 pm, to enable our ushers time to ensure that our concert begins on time. Masks and Social distancing requirements may be required and if so, will be enforced for individuals and/or family groups if COVID-19 restrictions are reinstated. Groups will be seated when all group members are present. Our two day Collaborative concerts with other local musical organizations may begin at different times, so stay tuned for special announcements for those events.
We are planning a full Concert and Fundraiser Schedule for the 2023-2024 Season. We are working on themes and programs for all of the new season’s future concerts, and will be posting them on this website as the concerts draw closer. Tickets will be sold on-line on this website, or at the door the day of the concert. Please keep checking this website for more information and the opportunity to purchase tickets for all the PSO Concerts in the 2023-2024 Season. 2023 Young Artist Competition
The Arlene Harms Young Artists Competition, sponsored by George and Patricia Martin, is conducted annually by the Paradise Symphony Orchestra to identify talented Young Artist musicians in orchestral, keyboard, and voice performance at two levels: Junior Level Youth (through 8th grade) and High School Level Youth (Grades 9-12). In 2023, Auditions were held between January 25 and February 7, 2023. Winners of this year’s competition will be featured in the April 30, 2023 Concert. Select “Young Artist Application“ below for a downloadable application and additional information for future auditions.
The Beauty of Winds
April 30, 2023 – 3:00 pm
April 30, 2023 features “The Beauty of Winds”. One of the highlights of each year is the presentation of the winners of our Young Artists Competition. These amazing young people are truly exciting as they play music of their choice with the orchestra. The woodwinds will be represented by wind ensembles playing the music of Ravel and Debussy. The entire orchestra delights with Amy Beech’s “Bal Masque.”
