Thanks
to the efforts of former Guild President Don Lapedes, the
Paradise
branch of the Butte County Library now has copies of the concerts of the
Paradise Symphony Orchestra in their collection.

IN THE SCHOOLS
Founded
by Ms. Madge Ebright and under the auspices of the Paradise Symphony Orchestra,
a new musical education program was introduced to the Ridge in 2003.
This program introduces children to a lifetime of musical delights.
Now available to 4th graders through 8th graders, we hope to add a
Paradise Youth Symphony in the future. All
donations to this program are gratefully appreciated and checks payable to the
Paradise Symphony Society, Inc. may be sent to:
The students put in many hours of practice and will be performing at their own
concert this spring. Information regarding these events will be appearing in the
Paradise Post and business locations throughout the Ridge. It
is hoped that by interacting with members of the orchestra and attending
symphony concerts, these young people will acquire a lifelong love of classical
music.
